Order must include: gestational age; collection date; clinical indications;  The AFP & AFP MoM results, if available. 

Specimen Requirements:

1.5 mL Amniotic Fluid in sterile tube
Minimum Volume:
0.5 mL Amniotic Fluid*

* This volume does not allow for repeat testing

Transport and Storage:
