Rectal swab using a Copan Liquid Stuart Culture Swab

Alternate Specimen

Copan (Cepheid) Liquid Stuart Peri-Rectal Swab

Collection Instructions

Carefully insert both swab tips approximately 1 cm beyond the anal sphincter and rotate gently.  
Place the swab pair back into the original transport tube.
