4.5 mL Protein-free Filtrate in a Plastic Vial - from EDTA

2.0 mL Supernate Fluid (Protein-free Filtrate)** This volume does not allow for repeat testing

Collection Instructions:
In ice pre-chill red top conical tube with 7% Perchloric Acid a at least 5 minutes prior to collection
Collect 4.0 mL whole blood in a lavendar top tube - EDTA
Processing Instructions:
Immediatley after collection pour 4.0 mL whole blood into the iced pre-chilled red top conical tube with 7% perchloric acid
Vigorously mix
Let mixture stand 10 minutes
Centrifuge and separate 4.5 mL supernatant fluid (Protein-free Filtrate) in a plastic vial
