Patient must be restricted from alcohol and vitamins for at least 24 hours before sample collection.
Specimen Requirements:
1.0 mL Plasma from a
Lavender Top Tube
- EDTA in a Amber Vial
Collection Instructions:
Centrifuge and separate from cells immediately; If cant be separated from cells immediately can keep whole blood refrigerated for up to 6 hrs before spinning.
Protect from Light by placing the plasma in an Amber Vial
