Stool Culture with Yersinia

Client Notes: No more than 2 specimens per patient will be accepted with out prior consultation. 
Specimen Requirements: Feces on Cary Blair Swab placed in (Red Cap with Carey Blair Media)
Collection Instructions: Collection Instructions

1. Collect Fecal specimen in commode hat or plain clean container
2. Urine should not contaminate the specimen

Place in Cary Blair media with in 1 hour of collection and refrigerate immediately after

1. Remove cap/swabs from package
2. Swab sample 
3. Return cap/swabs into tube
