Reference Range: Anti-Thyroglobulin: Less than 20 IU/mL
Anti-Thyroid Peroxidase: Less than 35 IU/mL
Test Comments:
When monitoring patients over time, thyroglobulin values obtained with different methods cannot be used interchangeably, due to the difference in methods and reagent specificity. This test was performed using the DPC Chemiluminescent method. If the sample contains anti-thyroglobulin antibodies of greater than 19 IU/mL, the presence of these autoantibodies may cause falsely low thyroglobulin
