1.0 mL Serum in a SST Gold Top Tube

Collection Instructions:  
Minimum Volume: 0.5 mL
Transport & Storage: Temperature/Stability: 48 hours Refrigerated

Specimen to be transported Refrigerated to PRMC within 48 hours of collection to be frozen by Immunology department to maintain specimen integrity until testing occurs. Do not transport Frozen.

20-39 Units: Week Positive
40-80 Units: Moderate Positive
>80 Units: Strong Positive

Methodology: EIA
Clinical Significance: A positive result indicates the presence of Scl-70 antibodies and suggests the possibility of scleroderma
