West Nile season is once again upon us and per the Allen County and Indiana State Board of Health offices the potential occurrence of Lacrosse virus is also about to reach peak in children under the age of 18.
For this reason the Board of Health is requesting that all Parkview sites follow the same testing protocol as in 2007.
West Nile Protocol on patients 17 and younger
WNLC - La Crosse - West Nile Screen, this panel will include both the West Nile and Lacrosse IgG and IgM tests.
West Nile Protocol on patients 18 and older
WNIL1 West Nile IgG and IgM, this will only include the West Nile IgG and IgM.
