The media is packaged together with a site-specific collection swab.
Site Specific V-C-M Media Collection Kits(Green Top) are labeled as:

Nasopharyngeal

When ordering Viral Culture media please specify how many of each site-specific collection kits you will need.
The Chlamydia trachomatis Culture, Mycoplasma hominis/Ureaplasma Culture, and the
Mycoplasma pneumoniae Culture all must be frozen in a –70 ° Freezer within 48 hours of collection. Please contact our Client Response Center at 373-9500 to request a special courier pick up if needed to meet this time frame.
