Collection Instructions: Utilize a Random Urine collection into a yellow non-sterile container. 

Utilizning Straw kit remove urine into a yellow conical tube

Rejection Criteria: Urine Specimens from Catheters; Gen-Probe Aptima Collection Kits
Reference Range: Negative for Chlamydia trachomatis by amplified probe

Negative for Neisseria gonorrhoeae by amplified probe
Critical Ranges:  
Test Comments: For patient less than 12 years of age - Culture is the only recommended procedure for diagnosing chlamydial or gonorrheal infection in cases of suspected child abuse
