Specimen submitted should be labled as SERUM or PLASMA

Specimen Requirements:

1.0 mL Serum from a Navy Blue Top Tube - No Additive in a Acid Washed, Metal Free Plastic Vial
Minimum Volume:
0.5 mL Serum*

* This volume does not allow for repeat testing

Processing Instructions:

Centrifuge and separate from cells

 Aliquot into an acid washed vial or other trace element free container


Rejection Criteria:

Frozen specimen


Transport and Storage:
  • Ambient (18-24°C): 10 days
