Collection Instructions: Specimen should be drawn immediately prior to am dose

Reference Range:
Trough 3.0-8.0 ng/mL for Transplantation
Trough 5.0-10.0 ng/mL for Oncology/Neurology
Test Comments: Therapeutic range applies to trough specimens drawn just prior to a.m. dose. 

Symptoms of toxicity are more likely to occur at trough levels exceeding 12.0 ng/mL
Methodology: Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry
Clinical Significance: Everolimus is an immunosuppresive drug used in organ transplantation to prevent graft rejection. Therapeutic drug monitoring is useful to optimize dose and avoid toxicity
