On the PRMC Campus, tolerance collections are performed at Parkview Outpatient Center, 11141 Parkview Plaza Drive, Suite 100 Fort Wayne, IN 46845 Entrance 3 


Patient Preparation: Patient should discontinue taking Biotin, Vitamin B7, or Vitamin H 48 hours before getting blood drawn.
Specimen Requirements: 1.0 mL Serum in a SST Gold Top Tube (One For Each Insulin Timed Collection)
Collection Instructions: Centrifuge tubes and separate from cells within 2 hours
Transport & Storage: Temperature/Stability: 2 days Refrigerated
Reference Range: Refer to report for reference ranges
Critical Ranges:  
Test Comments: Patients taking vitamin supplements containing doses of >5 mg/day may have falsely decreased test results generated.
