Patient Preparation

Specimen Collection instructions are found on the collection kit envelope that is comes in. 

Current US Postal Regulations prohibit mailing completed samples in the kit packaging or any other standard envelope. 

If you are returning your sample through the mail, use the enclosed US Postal Services approved thin cardboard mailing envelope sent with your kit.

Collection Instructions

The grooved portion of the sample probe must be covered with stool 


Processing Instructions:

The stool must be placed into the sample bottle within 4 hours of collection


Rejection Criteria:

Probe not covered with Stool


Transport and Storage:
  • Ambient: 15 Days
  • Refrigerated: 30 Days
