Specimen Requirements:

6.0 mL Plasma from 2 Blue Top Tubes - 3.2% Na Citrate in a Plastic Vial
Collection Instructions: Collect blood. 
Place immediately in a 37° C water bath.
Centrifuge blood in centrifuge carriers prewarmed to 37° C at 3000 rpm for a minimum of 10 minutes. 
Separate plasma from red cells, avoiding transfer of red cells, into plastic transport vial.
Minimum Volume: 3.0 mL Plasma
Transport & Storage: Temperature/Stability: 7 days Ambient
Rejection Criteria: Refrigerated; Frozen
