Collection Instructions

Mix tube by inversion 5 times

If submitting a specimen that is greater than 24 hours, please also submit a slide for the differential
Specimens must not be clotted. Overfilling or underfilling may allow blood to clot.

1 month to 2 months: 33.0 - 55.0%
2 months to 4 months: 28.0 - 42.0%

6 months to 1 year: 31.0 - 41.0%
1 year to 6 years: 33.0 - 41.0%
6 years to 14 years: 34.5 - 43.00%

Males: > 14 Yrs: 40.0 - 54.0%

Critical Ranges:
