Collection Instructions: Pre-Chill Lavender Top Tube and keep tube chilled
Centrifuge and separate Plasma immediately

Clinical Significance: Antidiuretic Hormone (also called ADH or Vasopressin) regulates water reabsorption in the kidney, reducing diuresis and increasing blood volume and ressure. The syndrome of inappropriate release of ADH has been labeled SIADH, occurring with neoplasia, pulmonary disorders (e.g., pneumonia and tuberculosis), CNS disorders, and with specific drugs.
