Patient Preparation: Patients should refrain from seafood, antacids, vitamins with mineral supplements and herbal preparation at least 3 days before collection. 
Specimen Requirements: 2.0 mL whole blood collected in an Tan Top Tube - K2 EDTA
Collection Instructions: Use a lead free tube if blood lead is also requested
Minimum Volume: 0.5 mL
Transport & Storage: Temperature/Stability: 4 days Ambient

Rejection Criteria: Hemolysis; clotted; EDTA lavender top tube; not protected from light
