Client Notes: Contact Client Response Center at 266-1500 option 1 and request the Polypropylene transfer tubes
Patient Preparation:  
Specimen Requirements:

2.0 mL CSF in Polypropylene transfer tube
8.0 mL Whole Blood in Lavender Top Tube(s) - EDTA

Collection Instructions: CSF must be transferred into the polypropylene with in 1 hour of collection.
Transport & Storage: Temperature/Stability: Refrigerate if necessary for a maximum of 24 hours, Whole blood-room temperature, avoid freezing

Ship;CSF: Must be shipped on a cold pack or frozen. Whole blood: Ship room temperature or refrigerated, avoid freezing.
Reference Range:

Correlation of levels of markers of Phosphorylated-Tau, Total-Tau, and Ab42, Presence of ApoE2, E3, E4 alleles

Clinical Significance:
