*Infant / Toddler Ranges obtained with the Nichols Institute Diagnostics Calcitonin-ICMA (Clinical Chemistry 2004; 50:1828-9).
This test was performed using the DPC Immulite 2000 Chemiluminescent method. Calcitonin values obtained with different assay methods or kits cannot be used interchangeably. Calcitonin is not to be used as a diagnostic procedure without confirmation of the diagnosis by another established product or procedure.
